HALF DAY OPTION

June 25th - August 17th

Half Day Option at Summit Farm includes horseback riding, horsemanship lessons, demos by the farrier & vet,  arts & crafts and group activities. Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 12:30pm, ages 5-15, all experience levels.  Click here for Summit Farm Brochure & Registration Form

Riding lessons are organized by ability. Any participant who cannot walk and trot on his/her own will be designated as a beginner. We suggest an evaluation lesson if parents are unsure of their child’s level.  

What Is Needed for Riding: 

  •  Signed Liability Waiver
  • ASTM/SEI Approved Riding Helmet*
  • Approved Paddock Boots*
  • Jeans or Riding Pants
  • Half Chaps
  • Riding Gloves*
  • Shorts or other clothes for games and non-riding activities
  • Long hair must be tied back
  • Lunch, snack & water

* A Beginner Equipment Package including a helmet, paddock boots and gloves can be purchased directly through Summit Farm - $175. 5 days notice required for order placement. 

 

Tuition:

  • $575 per week for beginners (campers who can’t walk/trot on own)
  • $550 per week for independent riders
  • Sibling Discount - $10 off per week
  • Must be paid in full to guarantee a spot
  • Cash or check - 3% processing fee for credit cards
  • No refunds
